Denovali SwingFest 2011 – Updates

We’re very happy to present you the first artists for this year’s Denovali SwingFest – our experimental music festival in Essen, Germany.

Due to the amount of artists we’ve booked the Festival this year will be on 3 days for the first time – September 30th, October 1st and October 2nd. We’ve rented a nice new venue called Weststadthalle Essen.

In total we will present 21 artists from 12 different countries. Their sets will be as long as a real club show. We’re currently working on the last confirmations – but the number of artists is already fixed – 7 per day. Sorry again for the delays on day one of last year’s edition – we will definitely avoid them this year.

The confirmed artists are the following:

September Malevolence (Sweden)
AUN (Canada)
ZU (Italy)
Bersarin Quartett (Germany)
Lento (Italy)
Bohren und der Club of Gore (Germany)
Thomas Köner (Germany)

Crevecoeur (France)
Nadja (Canada)
Contemporary Noise Sextet (Poland)
The Dale Cooper Quartet (France)
Jefre Cantu Ledesma (USA) + Paul Clipson (USA)

Les Fragments De La Nuit (France)
